I was truly honoured that Sergio Pablos accepted my request to chat. Such a humours and genuine person it was a pleasure to have him on the show and I’m delighted to share it with all of you!

A graduate of Cal Arts, currently directing at his own studio in Madrid, the SPA Studio. In his early career he started working for Disney. He was Animation Supervisor for Doppler, Tantor, one of the main animators on Hades and Frollo. He is the creator of Despicable Me and the Character Designer for Rio among many other smaller productions. Sergio has great stories about his time at Disney and inspiring tales of how he came to be the owner and director of the SPA.
